The app is simple to use, displaying all your Facebook chats and messages in a neat, scrollable menu. You can see if a person is online by checking if they have a blue icon next to their name. The app lets you send photos and emoticons, though it doesn't support voice messaging.
You can sync phone contacts with Facebook Messenger, but if you want chat notifications you need to install a different app.
